Pure Sk8 Camp

The Pure Sk8 Camp is a 4-day clinic dedicated to improving and refining each player's skating form and performance. Many programs offer "power skating" or "elite edges" but few actually deliver on such promises. Yuro Sk8 Systems' Pure Sk8 Camp gets results.  Like our other camps, each day will begin with dryland training. For this camp, we will focus on strength, explosiveness, coordination, and stability. On the ice, coaches will teach and train proper striding, edgework, acceleration/deceleration, transitions, balance, and upper body control. Then, unlike other skating clinics, we will take these lessons and ideas and apply them in game-speed drills, incorporating shooting, passing, stick handling, and battling.

who can attend

what to bring

  • Nutrition: Pack various snacks and plenty of fluids to stay energized and hydrated. Proper nutrition and adequate sleep are essential to ensure players are mentally and physically prepared each day.
  • Hockey Gear: Make sure your player's hockey bag is complete with sharpened skates, taped sticks, and tightened helmet screws. Double-check all equipment to ensure readiness for intensive training.

Throughout the four days, players will be challenged rigorously both on and off the ice. This camp offers an excellent opportunity for athletes to hone their skating skills, improve their on-ice performance, and gain a competitive edge for the upcoming season.
