Established in 2002 by Toronto native hockey player and coach, Stephen "Yuro" Yurichuk, Yuro Sk8 Systems has been at the forefront of hockey player development in the Twin Cities. Unique in its mission and methodology, Yuro Sk8 has successfully trained and guided hockey players at all levels of performance. Yuro and his staff have a wealth of experience spanning the NHL, AHL, USHL, NAHL, NA3HL, and USPHL. There is simply nothing else like it!

Year round Camps, Clinics, and Training

Yuro Sk8 Systems offers the most-comprehensive hockey skill development program in the Twin Cities, from mites to pros. Our training programs are designed to cater to players at all stages of their hockey journey. From morning training and holiday clinics in the fall and winter, to skill development camps in the spring and summer, no one offers more-effective hockey player development than Yuro Sk8 Systems.

Yuro Stars AAA Hockey

Yuro Sk8 Systems has operated the spring and summer Yuro Stars AAA Hockey program for over 20 years. Our players receive the same attention to detail, from the same coaches, as at all of our camps and clinics. That consistency of message provides each player with the most-effective long-term player development available in Minnesota.

Our High School Holiday Skates are designed for players born between 2012 and 2008 who are currently playing high school hockey or are preparing to make the jump to the high-school level. As the winter season is usually more team-focused, these training sessions will work to maximize individual skill performance with high-tempo drills focusing on speed, puck control, decision-making, and fostering an intense-compete level.

The High School Holiday Skates will take place at Charles M. Schulz - Highland Arena in St. Paul, MN.

Whether you’re already skating in high school or working toward earning a roster spot, these skates are a great way to stay in game shape, build confidence, and elevate your play over the break. Not exclusive to Yuro Stars players and open to all skaters in the 2012 through 2008 birth years!

Yuro was truly a pioneer in bringing Toronto-style morning hockey training to Minnesota. Often imitated, never duplicated, his unique and challenging Morning Sk8 program is never dull or repetitive, like the others. Always fresh and always tailored to specific player needs, Morning Sk8s are an outstanding way to maintain your skill level and refine your techniques throughout the winter season. Groups are purposely-limited in size, and locations sell out quickly.

23 Years of AAA Hockey

The Yuro Stars AAA Hockey program specializes in long-term player development, offering a spring and summer hockey experience like no other. 2026 will be our 23rd season of AAA Hockey, providing training and tournaments from March through August for 2017s through U16 (2010s & 2011s).
